Hi Friends,
I hope you enjoy this Free mandala colouring PDF! I haven’t done one in ages… so here’s how it happened.
I was doing a mini declutter of my “office suit” as I have no office space anymore as it’s Phoenix bedroom. I have decluttered most of my office items into an old vintage suitcase (see photo below) and the rest of my files are in the linen closet (HAHA)
As I was decluttering, I came across this old mandala drawing loose in my office suitcase; I had started but never finished. I used it as a demonstration in one of my mandala workshops.
So one night, when we were all sitting down to watch a show on TV, I started finishing it. By the morning, I was finishing off the last bits when Yia Yia (aka Mamabear - Tony’s mother) asked me, do you do that to relax? I said yes, it’s another way I meditate.
I have not put pressure on myself to do my regular meditation practice in the morning due to feeding during the night with Memphis at the moment. My mornings feel too heavy. I’m so tired that if I were to attempt to meditate, I would probably just be sleeping!
But whenever a random surge of creative energy sparks inside me, I just go for it, stop, and stay in that creative zone, even if it’s just for 30 minutes or an hour. It makes me feel so connected to myself even more now as a mama than before because it’s something I am doing 100% for myself.
For me today, the simple pleasure of drawing or colouring feels like a 30-minute meditation because it instantly calms me, which is why I called this drawing “Calm Your Blooming Mind.” Even though I am deep in my work of motherhood right now and can’t think about anything else, when my mind does get space to think, it is “BLOOMING” with ideas and adventures I can’t wait to share.
You can find MORE of my Free Colouring Mandalas to download whenever you'd like to visit me online. I love those of you who have already downloaded these. It makes me so happy to see people register and download them.
I love sharing these creative works with you all as I do them for myself, but if you can also find joy in them, it makes them even more special to me.
Ways to use them:
Hosting a lunch or dinner with your friends - print and leave them as mini cards to colour before food is served. Just leave some colour pencils or markers in the middle of the table
They are great to do during lunchtime break (especially if you work in an office with access to a free printer)
Mama’s print a few of them off, and when friends come over with kids, just put them out with crayons to keep them busy while you try to enjoy your hot drink.
These are all the ways I’ve used them before. Please let me know if you use them or find another use for them. It brings me joy to hear from you.
I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend and hope some of you find time to print these and get colouring.
Love Kim
Ps. I do want to share soon with you all how decluttering has impacted my life in such an amazing way that I know it can help you also feel wonderful. Stay tuned in!
